A lot of people fear it… dread it… But you can’t run from it.
Once a week, 52 times a year — like clockwork — Monday comes. Most of the reason people hate Monday is because they’re not prepared for it.
They spent all weekend doing unproductive things without thinking about the future.
So Monday morning rolls around and they’re totally unprepared…
That’s why goal setting is so important. If you have a goal, you can easily use it to set a clear path forward.
But many people have problems setting goals. They don’t know how to get started…
Or once they set the goal they flounder on it almost immediately and give up.
Think of every New Years resolution you’ve set. How many of those are still going? How many did you end after just a month? Or even less time?
Today I want to share a simple goal setting method that I would use if I had lost everything and had to rebuild from the ground up.
I call it the “ABC Method.”
A — Align Money & Motivation
Suppose you want to set a goal to make $1,000,000 by the end of 2023.
What are you using that $1,000,000 for?
If the numbers do not align with something in your life that’s bigger than yourself (such as family, friends or a cause), it won’t mean a thing.
Visualize it and align it.
B — Be Willing to Pay the Price
Pay the price today to enjoy the future.
Hustle, work long hours, sacrifice going to the bars on weekends, and start saying “no” to anything that doesn’t align with your goals.
Success isn’t easy, but comfortable isn’t easy either. You have to be willing to do what most people want to live a life most people don’t.
Do you want it? Work for it.
C — Commit 100% to Success
The financial results you’ve deserved your whole life can finally make their way to your bank account (but only if you commit). It would help if you desired enough change to commit yourself to it fully.
Suppose you’re sick and tired of complaining and settling in life. In that case, that should be the reason for you to say “enough is enough” and commit to making a change in your life to be happier, healthier, and less stressed.
Talk is cheap, action is harder. So, put your money where your mouth is. Start using this ABC goal setting method I’ve used to create massive success.
